He was named by the influential Boutique Hotelier’s Power List 2020 as an Industry Titan and recently again as a Market Marvel in 2022. He was chair of the West London General Managers Association. A fellow of the Institute of Hospitality and of the British Institute of Facilities Management, Nassar is a member of the advisory board of London and Partners and has consulted for several hotel groups including Kempinski, Jumeirah, One and Only and Katara Hospitality.

Nassar is an ardent proponent of sustainable new age challenger brands and disruptive growth models. He is passionate about people, technology and enjoys public speaking. He is a sought-after keynote speaker and contributor at industry events.

He is a visiting Hospitality Lecturer at The Vatel International Hotel Institute in Brussels and at Stratford College in London. He chairs a number of hotel forums including for Coutts, WTM, and Dubai’s Hotel Show

He graduated from Imperial College in Business Studies and holds an MBA in Hospitality and Tourism Management from The London School of Business and Finance. Formerly the Chief Operating Officer for Royal Luxury Hotels, he led and managed the launch of the group’s latest five-star hotel in Doha, Qatar. He became Head of Global Standards for Nikko (JAL) Hotels International after holding senior management positions at Sanderson Hotels, Hilton Worldwide, Marriot and Four Seasons. He also played a pivotal role in the development and launch of an original concept of boutique hotels known as Resident Hotels, where he was Operations Director, company Director and a board member.

Nassar is a trustee of several charities that are close to his heart including BCBN and Sense International.
